High-quality pediatric speech therapy for Cerritos families, delivered live over video from the comfort of home. No commute, no waitlist, no compromise on quality.
Call (714) 643-6310 →Cerritos is a bit outside our usual in-clinic drive radius — it's about 25 miles north of our Huntington Beach office, and asking families to make that drive weekly (or twice weekly) isn't realistic for most of you. That's why we offer teletherapy for Cerritos families instead: high-quality, evidence-based pediatric speech therapy delivered live over video, from your home.
For many school-age children with articulation, phonological, or language goals, teletherapy is genuinely as effective as in-person therapy — and comes with the bonus of zero commute time, the ability to fit sessions around school and homework, and full family involvement without needing to rearrange the day.
Cerritos families reach out to us when they've been told there's a long waitlist for pediatric SLP in their area, when they want a therapist who specializes exclusively in pediatric work, or when they simply prefer the flexibility of teletherapy. Every session is one-on-one with Yoliana Gaber, M.S., CCC-SLP — the same personalized care we give our in-clinic families, just delivered through a laptop or tablet.
Teletherapy works best for school-age children with articulation or language goals. For infants and toddlers, or for children with significant feeding challenges, we typically recommend in-person therapy — and we'd suggest looking for a provider closer to home for those cases.
Not every child or family is a good fit for teletherapy, and we want to be upfront about that. Here's how we think about it:
Great fits for teletherapy: school-age children (roughly age 5+) working on articulation, phonological patterns, language goals (vocabulary, sentence structure, storytelling), or fluency. Motivated kids who can sit for a 30–45 minute session with a supportive parent nearby often do beautifully on video.
Better served in person: infants and toddlers, children with significant feeding or oral-motor needs, and children who need very hands-on support to stay regulated during sessions. For those cases, we'd recommend finding a provider closer to home.
We're happy to talk through your specific situation on a free intake call — no pressure either way. Sometimes the answer is teletherapy with us; sometimes it's a recommendation for someone else. Either way, we want your child to get the right care.
